Aqara has introduced an impressive lineup of smart home security devices at IFA in Berlin, all designed to integrate seamlessly with Apple HomeKit and enhance home automation with advanced features. The new products include a wired doorbell camera, a versatile video recording hub, and the brand’s first outdoor battery-powered camera, offering users greater flexibility and control over their home security systems.
The Doorbell Camera G400 supports wired installation and works with Apple HomeKit Secure Video, enabling secure cloud recordings and facial recognition. Its 2K sensor ensures full-body video capture and includes detection for motion, packages, vehicles, animals, and people. Power options include PoE or a standard low-voltage supply, making it adaptable to various home setups.
For outdoor monitoring, Aqara presents the Camera G510, its inaugural battery-operated outdoor model. Equipped with a built-in solar panel to maintain charge, this camera delivers 2.5K resolution and supports on-device detection of people, vehicles, and packages without requiring constant power access.
Central to the new ecosystem is the Home Station M410, a multi-functional hub that acts as a central access point for Aqara cameras while extending their operational range. It allows continuous recording to local storage options like a hard disk, SSD, or microSD card and also functions as a Matter hub, ensuring broad compatibility with other smart devices.
Complementing these releases is the Hub M200, a multi-protocol device serving as a Matter controller, Thread border router, and Matter bridge for Zigbee-based Aqara products. It also includes a 360-degree IR blaster for enhanced control. Additional offerings include the Radiator Thermostat W600 with Thread and Zigbee support, along with a new series of H2 smart plugs and outlets tailored for European and UK markets.
