Apple has officially announced the schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), set to run from June 8 through June 12, 2026. The event will give developers an exclusive first look at the latest tools, technologies, and features coming to Apple platforms, along with direct access to Apple engineers and designers.
WWDC26 opens on June 8 with the highly anticipated Keynote and Platforms State of the Union, where Apple will unveil significant updates across its ecosystem, including new AI capabilities and advanced software and developer tools. Throughout the week, attendees can explore more than 100 video sessions covering tools, technologies, and design principles. Developers and students can also participate in Group Labs and engage in discussions on the Apple Developer Forums. For the first time in-person since the pandemic, Apple will host over 1,000 developers, designers, and students at Apple Park on June 8 for a celebration of innovation.
The Keynote kicks off at 10 a.m. PDT on June 8, offering a preview of the latest platform updates. It will be streamed live on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel, with on-demand playback available afterward. At 1 p.m. PDT, the Platforms State of the Union will dive deeper into new APIs, features, and technologies designed to empower developers. This session will be available on the Apple Developer app, website, YouTube, and bilibili, with on-demand access after the live stream.
Video sessions throughout the week provide a direct learning experience from Apple’s engineers and designers. Curated guides will help developers navigate announcements by platform and topic. Group Labs run Tuesday through Friday, offering live Q&A sessions lasting up to 60 minutes. Topics include Apple Intelligence, developer tools, design, graphics and games, and machine learning. Apple experts will also be active on the Developer Forums to answer questions.
The Apple Design Awards recognize technical excellence and creativity in the developer community. This year, 36 finalists were announced today in categories such as Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics. Winners will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Apple continues to support emerging talent through the Swift Student Challenge, which honored 350 winners this year. Among them, 50 Distinguished Winners have been invited to Cupertino for a special three-day experience during WWDC week.
