Earlier this year, Meta embarked on an aggressive hiring campaign following a substantial $14.3 billion investment in Scale AI and the recruitment of its CEO, Alexandr Wang. However, this expansion was short-lived, as the company soon implemented a hiring freeze and announced a major organizational restructuring designed to concentrate resources on AI-driven products and core infrastructure.
