Bethesda has unveiled a highly detailed, wearable Pip-Boy 3000 replica from the Fallout universe, now available for preorder at $299.99. This meticulously crafted accessory, designed using the original 3D game models, is expected to begin shipping around June 2026. Unfortunately, fans hoping to sport the device for the second season premiere of Amazon’s Fallout series in December 2025 will have to wait a bit longer.

Unlike earlier versions, such as the smartphone-dependent model bundled with the Fallout 4 collector’s edition, this new replica stands on its own. Developed in partnership with The Wand Company, known for producing authentic, functional items like Poké Balls and Star Trek Communicators, the Pip-Boy 3000 includes its own integrated 4-inch LCD screen.

Users can customize the interface, choosing between the classic green UI from Fallout 3 or the yellowish display featured in New Vegas. Bethesda confirms that nearly all in-game content has been faithfully reproduced, complete with hundreds of navigable menus operated by scroll wheels and dials. A fully playable version of the Atomic Command minigame is also included. The screen mimics the look of an old cathode-ray tube, complete with flickers and glitches; tapping the device, thanks to a built-in accelerometer, temporarily stabilizes the image.

Constructed with a die-cast metal front casing and an injection-moulded plastic body, the Pip-Boy comes with a memory foam cuff that can be adjusted using an included spacer for a comfortable fit. Additional features include a practical flashlight, a headphone jack, and an alarm clock mode that works with the provided display stand.

One of the most intriguing additions is a functional radiation detector. Rather than measuring hazardous nuclear fallout, however, this feature detects radiation from FM radio broadcasts. On-screen meters and simulated Geiger counter sounds bring this unique capability to life, offering a playful nod to the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout.
