Lovable and Google Cloud have formalized a significantly expanded multiyear partnership, announced Wednesday. The Stockholm-based vibe-coding startup, already a longtime Google Cloud customer, is now set to dramatically increase its reliance on the platform.

While the companies declined to reveal the financial specifics, a source familiar with the agreement tells TechCrunch it involves a fivefold increase in Lovable’s Google Cloud footprint, particularly in AI usage. As part of this deal, Lovable will gain expanded access to Anthropic’s Claude , the AI model widely favored for coding tasks , as well as Google’s own Gemini models.

The inclusion of Anthropic is especially noteworthy. Google invested $10 billion in Anthropic last April, a mix of cash and compute credits, with a promise of an additional $30 billion if the company hits specific performance milestones. That investment was made at a $350 billion valuation, just one month before Anthropic raised a staggering $65 billion round that valued the company at nearly $1 trillion. This new partnership with Lovable could help Anthropic reach those targets, as Lovable is one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups on record. According to Lovable, it crossed $400 million in annualized revenue in February, adding $100 million in a single month with a workforce of just 146 employees. The company claims that more than half of Fortune 500 companies use its product in some capacity.

The agreement also integrates Lovable deeper into Google’s broader ecosystem. Lovable’s new agent will be available through Google Cloud’s enterprise agent marketplace, the Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery , a move first hinted at during Google’s major U. S. cloud conference in April. To help secure the code written by both humans and agents, Lovable will integrate with Wiz, Google’s largest acquisition ever at $32 billion, which officially closed in March, a year after its announcement. This integration enables Wiz to identify and remediate security issues in real time.

By selling Lovable’s agents through Google’s marketplace, the cloud giant says enterprise procurement and billing will be streamlined, making it easier for Lovable to attract more enterprise customers.

The strategic calculus for Google is clear. By keeping both Lovable and Anthropic growing through deep-pocketed enterprise clients, the revenue can help offset the $180 billion to $190 billion in capital expenditures Google plans this year. The company is already selling a record-breaking $85 billion in equity to cover part of that, leaving only about $100 billion more to go.
