AI-powered marketing startup Nectar Social has secured a $30 million Series A funding round, led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund , a vehicle created in partnership with Anthropic. The company announced the raise on Thursday.
Described as an agentic operating system for marketers, Nectar Social officially emerged from stealth last year. The platform uses autonomous AI agents to handle a wide range of brand activities, including social engagement, content moderation, creator workflows, competitive analysis, and commerce interactions , all from end to end. By maintaining data partnerships with companies like Meta and Reddit, the Nectar agent can pull and consolidate information from multiple platforms into a single hub, eliminating the need for brands to juggle separate tools for each channel.
The startup was founded by sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee, both former Meta employees. Misbah, who serves as CEO, told TechCrunch that the new capital will fuel expansion and hiring across applied AI, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
“The buying conversation has moved into social, and no human team can staff every place it happens,” Misbah said. “We’re accelerating our category lead in building the operating system that lets brands show up everywhere.”
Nectar Social counts Liquid Death, Figma, and e.l.f. Beauty among its clients. Additional investors in the round include Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures, GV, and True Ventures.
