The fresh capital will allow ATMOS to scale its orbital transport and return services, a niche that remains largely untapped in Europe. While many companies focus on launching payloads into space, far fewer offer a reliable way to bring them back to Earth. ATMOS aims to fill that gap with a fleet of reusable re-entry vehicles designed for both commercial and government clients.
The PHOENIX 2 vehicles represent the next step in the company’s roadmap, building on the success of the original PHOENIX capsule that made history last year. Each vehicle is engineered for controlled re-entry and recovery, enabling customers to retrieve experiments, manufactured materials, or other cargo from orbit.
