Govee has been making waves recently with a steady stream of new smart lighting products, from rechargeable table lamps to Matter-compatible ceiling lights that display retro, pixelated images. Now, the company’s 34-foot Outdoor Solar String Lights, unveiled in April, are available at a discount. You can grab them on Amazon for $79.99, which is $20 off the regular price, thanks to an on-page coupon.

These solar-powered string lights can be charged via USB-C, but the real appeal is the integrated 6W solar panel and 4,800mAh battery. With a full day of sunlight, they can run for up to 13 hours on a single charge. Each of the eight IP67-rated LED bulbs is weather-resistant and offers a maximum brightness of 50 lumens. However, Govee’s runtime estimates assume you’ll keep the brightness at just 10 lumens. Crank up the intensity, and the battery life will shrink accordingly.

Like many of Govee’s color-changing smart bulbs, these string lights can produce warm white light or shift through 16 million different colors. You control everything through the Govee mobile app for Android and iOS. From there, you can choose from 100 preset scenes, schedule when the lights turn on and off, adjust brightness, or even set them to pulse in time with your music. That music-reactive feature has always felt a bit gimmicky to me, but to each their own.

Amazon Pet Days doesn’t officially start until May 11th, but you can already save on the Petcube Fountain. It’s available at Amazon with a stainless steel basin starting at $59.99 ($10 off). This fountain holds a generous 57-ounce water tank, uses a four-layer filtration system, and has a 2,600mAh battery that lasts about three weeks per charge. A UV-C light helps keep bacteria at bay, and it runs surprisingly quietly. That’s one reason we named it one of our favorite pieces of pet tech.

Through May 10th (or while supplies last), Verge readers can snag the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra at Wellbots for $786.75 , about $393 off , using promo code VERGEAQUA25 at checkout. This roller-style mopping vacuum stands out with 30,000Pa of suction power and the ability to clean itself in real time. It also features lidar navigation, can climb thresholds up to 3.15 inches, and comes with a multifunction charging dock that doesn’t look like an eyesore.

I’ll admit, I’m not nearly as excited about the upcoming Star Fox game as some of my colleagues. But if Fox McCloud’s recent cameo in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie and the idea of replaying Star Fox 64 with redesigned characters and upgraded visuals has you hyped, you can preorder a physical copy at Amazon or Walmart for $49.94 ($10 off). That matches the price of the digital edition. Considering Nintendo is now charging $10 more for physical copies of all Switch 2 titles, this discount is a welcome break for anyone who prefers a hard copy.
