Applications are now open for the region’s first Chief AI Officer Executive Program, a landmark initiative designed to prepare top-tier executives for the complexities of artificial intelligence leadership. This intensive program, hosted by the newly established AI Academy, targets senior leaders aiming to spearhead AI adoption and transformation within their organizations.
The program was officially introduced during the Machines Can See 2025 summit, with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, in attendance. Its launch responds to a growing regional demand, as recent studies indicate that 69% of Middle Eastern organizations plan to increase their AI investments in the near future.
Developed through a partnership between the Abu Dhabi School of Management and Polynome AI Academy, the curriculum aligns with the UAE’s broader ambition to become a global hub for AI innovation, governance, and economic impact. National strategies project that AI could contribute over $96 billion to the UAE’s GDP by 2031, underscoring the program’s strategic importance.
Participants will benefit from integrated NVIDIA technologies and expertise within select modules, ensuring that learning is both cutting-edge and applicable to real-world scenarios.
Scheduled to commence on November 16, 2025, the two-week program features ten advanced modules. These include AI systems architecture, ethical governance, public policy considerations, and hands-on leadership strategies for driving AI integration across departments. An optional five-day international module in Europe or the United States will also be available, providing exposure to global innovation ecosystems and practices.
Polynome Group will supply enterprise-level AI infrastructure, proven best practices, and practical deployment insights throughout the program. With several UAE government entities already appointing Chief AI Officers, this executive education initiative is positioned as a critical enabler of the UAE AI Strategy 2031 and the nation’s wider developmental vision.
Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ADSM, emphasized the need for informed leadership, stating, “Visionary and strategic guidance is essential to harness AI’s potential responsibly. This program delivers the foresight, ethical grounding, and actionable skills required for meaningful impact.”
Alexander Khanin, Founder of Polynome Group, highlighted the practical orientation of the curriculum: “What distinguishes this program is its design by practitioners who have executed AI at scale. Graduates will emerge with executable strategies, enterprise tools, and access to an influential network of global AI leaders.”
