A standout feature of Muse Image is the ability to @ mention other Instagram accounts in a prompt. This allows the AI to pull from public photos and build a visual that incorporates that user’s likeness. Meta notes that “tagging a username lets Meta AI use public photos to build a visual,” while also giving users control over how their content is reused for AI purposes.
Beyond personalization, Muse Image supports image transformations through suggested prompts, letting people generate designs for invitations, postcards, and more. Another practical application allows users to redesign a room by pulling an image from Facebook Marketplace or elsewhere on the web. The tool also enables direct editing , users can draw on top of a photo to make changes, then share the result to their feed, story, or chat.
