Despite launching in 2017, Wildlands remains one of the franchise’s most popular entries, consistently outperforming newer titles like Breakpoint and maintaining a dedicated player base thanks to its grounded cartel conflict and cooperative gameplay.

Originally released on March 7, 2017, Ghost Recon: Wildlands broke away from the series’ traditional linear structure by dropping players into a fictionalized, open-world Bolivia under the iron grip of the Santa Blanca drug cartel.
