CD Projekt’s latest financial report reveals a year of solid growth, powered largely by the enduring strength of its Cyberpunk franchise. The studio’s 2025 results show a 9% rise in sales revenue, reaching 867 million PLN, with net profit climbing an impressive 33.7% to 594 million PLN. This financial uptick underscores the successful ongoing lifecycle of its flagship titles as the company invests heavily in future projects.

A 12% year-over-year increase in Cyberpunk revenue was the primary engine for this performance. Key drivers included the launch of Cyberpunk Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 and the introduction of the base game to PlayStation subscription services. The Switch 2 release, in particular, fueled a massive surge in the company’s goods and materials segment, where sales grew fivefold thanks to strong physical cartridge demand.

Looking ahead, CD Projekt is channeling substantial resources into its development pipeline, with over 513 million PLN invested in upcoming releases. The Witcher 4 remains the central focus, but Cyberpunk 2 has now moved past its conceptual phase and entered full production. The studio is also making clear progress on its original intellectual property, internally known as Project Hadar.

Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski provided an update on this new venture, stating that the team has dynamically established the foundational pillars for the Hadar universe. “We have clearly defined distinguishing features of this world,” Nowakowski explained, noting that these core concepts will support not only the game but potential future products as well. He emphasized that development is active and iterative, with the team creating multiple prototypes in Unreal Engine to live-test specific mechanics and gameplay elements.

This expanded slate of projects is reflected in the company’s growing workforce. The total number of developers increased from 707 to 933 within a year. The bulk of this talent, 499 developers, is assigned to The Witcher 4. Cyberpunk 2 follows with 149, while teams of 71 and 26 are working on Project Sirius and Project Hadar, respectively.

The past year also included significant commercial milestones for the studio’s existing catalog. CD Projekt announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has sold over 60 million copies lifetime, Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 35 million units, and its Phantom Liberty expansion has sold more than 10 million copies.

In a separate strategic move, CD Projekt sold the GOG platform to co-founder Michał Kiciński for 90.7 million PLN in December. The transaction was externally financed. Kiciński remains the company’s second-largest individual shareholder, retaining a 10% stake in CD Projekt.
