Facebook is rolling out a significant new initiative aimed directly at content creators from rival platforms. The social media giant has launched the Creator Fast Track program, a structured effort to help established video makers grow an audience on Facebook with both guaranteed monthly pay and algorithmic support for their content. This move comes as the company revealed it paid creators nearly $3 billion through its various monetization tools in 2025, marking a 35% annual increase and a record high.

The program is designed to lower the barrier for creators who have already built substantial followings on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Instead of starting from zero, eligible participants receive a three-month period of increased reach for their Reels, accelerating follower growth, alongside a guaranteed income. Creators with at least 100,000 followers on another platform can earn $1,000 monthly, while those with over one million followers are eligible for $3,000 per month.

A key benefit is immediate access to Facebook’s full suite of monetization tools, bypassing the platform’s standard eligibility requirements like minimum follower counts. This access remains active even after the initial three-month program concludes, allowing creators to continue earning revenue.

“We wanted to address creators’ concerns about the difficulty of onboarding onto Facebook and building a community from scratch,” explained Yair Livne, VP of Creator Product at Facebook. “So we set up this program to address that.” He added that while the direct monetary bonus lasts for three months, Facebook will continue to boost a creator’s content reach until the company is confident they have successfully found their audience on the platform.

Livne also emphasized flexibility in content requirements. Creators are not obligated to produce exclusive new material. “If you have a great back catalog of best hits, we would love to get that as well, and that qualifies for the terms of the program,” he stated. This approach is a direct response to feedback from established creators the company has sought to attract.

Supporting this broader push, Facebook shared that the number of creators earning over $10,000 annually on its platform grew by more than 30% year-over-year. Furthermore, Reels dominated creator payouts, accounting for 60% of the total funds distributed last year, with the remainder going to Stories, photos, and text posts.

To provide greater transparency, Facebook is introducing new creator earnings metrics. The “qualified views” metric will show creators how many of their video views are potentially eligible for revenue, as views can be disqualified for reasons like a user watching for only one second. A companion “earnings rate” metric will display approximate earnings per 1,000 qualified views, while a “non-qualified views” breakdown will explain why certain views didn’t count and offer guidance for improving future content performance.
