The recent PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2025 delivered an avalanche of reveals, trailers, and announcements for upcoming games. The event highlighted The Council’s 25 Most Wanted games for 2026 and featured over fifteen world premieres, offering fresh looks at dozens of anticipated titles. From long-awaited sequels to bold new intellectual properties, the showcase provided a comprehensive glimpse into the future of PC gaming.

Kicking off the official countdown at number twenty-five is Reanimal from Tarsier Studios. This cooperative horror experience from the creators of Little Nightmares tasks a young brother and sister with surviving their infested childhood island, now overrun by relentless chimeric horrors. At twenty-four, Grave Seasons by Perfect Garbage blends farming simulation with supernatural murder mystery, letting players cultivate crops and romance gothic townsfolk while investigating a magical killing.

The list continues with major franchise entries. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight from TT Games merges classic Lego humor with the combat style of the Arkham series. InXile’s Clockwork Revolution, a steampunk RPG, promises time-travel narratives and memorable characters. The innovative Recur plays with a core mechanic where moving forward advances time and moving backward rewinds it, creating a unique puzzle-platforming challenge.

Other notable entries include PVKK, a comedic simulator about operating a planetary defense cannon, and Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, a roguelite spin-off of the beloved co-op shooter. Thick As Thieves offers a stealth experience in a gloomy 1910s metropolis, while Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival delivers intense first-person body horror.

High-profile reveals from major studios generated significant buzz. Marvel’s Blade is in development at Arkane Studios, combining the iconic vampire hunter with the studio’s signature immersive design. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls from Arc System Works will let players settle classic superhero versus debates in a fighting game arena. The long-awaited Arma 4 aims to continue its legacy as a premier military simulation.

Strategic and expansive worlds are also on the horizon. Star Wars Zero Company from Bit Reactor is a turn-based tactical game set during the Clone Wars. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 plans to modernize the classic RTS formula, introducing the Adeptus Mechanicus as a playable faction. Hello Games, following No Man’s Sky, is crafting Light No Fire, a massive procedural fantasy world on a single planet-sized map.

The countdown’s top ten features heavy hitters. Nioh 3 promises more high-speed samurai action, while Big Walk is a cooperative adventure filled with minigames. Onimusha: Way of the Sword marks the series’ return after two decades. Resident Evil Requiem will send players back to Raccoon City as an FBI analyst in early 2026. Control 2 continues Remedy’s interconnected universe, and Grand Theft Auto 6 remains one of the most anticipated releases, now slated for November 2026.

Rounding out the top five are Stranger Than Heaven from the Yakuza team, a time-hopping adventure set in Osaka, and Haunted Chocolatier, the next life-sim from the creator of Stardew Valley. 007 First Light from IO Interactive aims to blend Hitman and Uncharted into the ultimate James Bond experience. Topping the list at number one is Slay the Spire 2, the sequel to the genre-defining deckbuilding roguelike, scheduled for March 2026.

Beyond the main list, the show was packed with additional premieres and updates. The pre-show highlighted available titles like the bullet-heaven roguelike Night Swarm and the remastered classic FPS Blood: Refreshed Supply.

The main event opened with the world premiere of SOL Shogunate, a samurai space opera, followed by reveals for the factory game Substructure and the chaotic arcade racer Carmageddon: Rogue Shift. New trailers showcased the cooperative heist FPS Rogue Point, the card-based football game Nutmeg, and the stunning metroidvania MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Action was plentiful with the dino-aided FPS Ferocious, available now, and the adorable mech-building game Animalkind. The tone shifted with the gothic roguelite Ex Sanguis and another world premiere, Neath, from the Rogue Legacy creators. Whimsical titles like the dog-merging deckbuilder Dogpile and the survival climbing game Cairn offered variety.

Narrative-driven experiences included the non-violent sci-fi game Lunar Strike and the psychological thriller When Sirens Fall Silent. Season two for Killing Floor 3 launched immediately, and strategy fans got looks at Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes and the tower defense game DarkSwitch.

Major updates were announced for several games. Soulmask is targeting a 1.0 launch in spring 2026 with an Egyptian-themed DLC, while Guild Wars: Reforged is out now with visual enhancements. Upcoming releases include the cyberpunk heist FPS Den of Wolves from former Payday 2 developers and the rhythm roguelite Wardrum.

The show also featured intriguing transformations, like the office-chair shooter Last Man Sitting and the unsettling fishing game About Fishing. Players can defy death in Gods, Death & Reapers, design warships in Down with the Ship, or explore an Afrofuturist world in Unyverse.

Sequel announcements came for Let it Die: Inferno and High on Life 2, the latter adding skateboarding to its chaotic formula. Iconic horror returns in the asymmetric multiplayer game Halloween, and sandbox freedom is promised in Streets of Fortuna.

Action-packed reveals included the bullet-hell narrative FPS Lunar Abyss, the space combat sim Remnant Protocol, and the spell-combining puzzle game Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times. The bizarre Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator sequel got a demo, and peaceful life is an option in Starsand Island.

Closing out the show were several more world premieres. These included the turn-based retro adventure Dungeons of Dusk, the emotional puzzle-platformer The House of Hikmah, the vehicular combat game Samson, and the mysterious investigative game Inkblood. The event concluded with the dreamlike RPG Away From Home, the odd-couple adventure Damon and Baby, and the seafaring exploration of Windrose.
