▼ Summary

– Sony is surveying PlayStation users about PS Plus satisfaction, following recent price increases across all three membership tiers.
– The survey asks about satisfaction with features like game access, online multiplayer, discounts, Share Play, cloud storage, and overall value.
– It also asks how likely users are to renew their subscription and what would make the experience more rewarding.
– A Push Square poll found that 64% of users believe PS Plus Essential does not represent good value for money in 2026.
– Price increases apply to all tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium, with new monthly, 3-month, and annual rates now higher.

Sony is turning to its community for honest opinions, sending out email surveys to PlayStation users to gauge satisfaction with PS Plus just weeks after announcing price hikes across all three membership tiers.

The email explicitly states that “any feedback will help us improve the service,” and the questionnaire covers a broad range of features. It starts by asking users to rate their satisfaction with key elements, including access to the subscription game library, online multiplayer, PS Store discounts, Share Play, 100GB cloud storage, and the overall value of the membership.

Next, Sony asks how likely subscribers are to renew when their current plan expires, with responses ranging from “very likely” to “very unlikely.” The survey also inquires about which consoles respondents own, and wraps up with an open-ended question: “What would make your PlayStation Plus experience feel more rewarding to you?”

This outreach comes on the heels of our own recent polling at Push Square, where we asked whether PS Plus Essential offers good value in 2026. A decisive 64% of you answered “no.”

Although Sony initially publicized only the price increase for the base Essential tier, it later emerged that PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium also got more expensive. Here are the updated prices for new subscribers or anyone whose membership has lapsed:

1-Month Subscriptions:

  • Essential: $9.99 → $10.99 (US), £6.99 → £7.99 (UK), €8.99 → €9.99 (EU)
  • Extra: $14.99 → $16.99, £10.99 → £11.99, €13.99 → €15.99
  • Premium: $17.99 → $19.99, £13.49 → £14.99, €16.99 → €18.99

3-Month Subscriptions:

  • Essential: $24.99 → $27.99, £19.99 → £21.99, €24.99 → €27.99
  • Extra: $39.99 → $43.99, £31.99 → £34.99, €39.99 → €43.99
  • Premium: $49.99 → $54.99, £39.99 → £43.99, €49.99 → €54.99
