The latest update for Pokemon Legends Z-A, version 2.0.1, is now available for download on all compatible Nintendo Switch platforms. This patch introduces several convenient quality-of-life improvements and addresses a handful of bugs, particularly those related to the recent Mega Dimension DLC. Players will find their adventure in Lumiose City smoother with these adjustments.

A significant change involves item management. The maximum number of Mega Shards a player can hold has been dramatically increased from 999 to 9,999, allowing for much greater resource gathering. Additionally, a long-requested feature has been implemented: you can now purchase multiple Berries at once from food stalls. For those engaged with the DLC content, Berries also become available for purchase from the clerk at Nouveau Café’s Truck No. 3 after starting the Mega Dimension storyline.

The update also resolves several confirmed issues specific to the DLC. These fixes include correcting a problem where Pokémon might face the wrong direction when using moves in certain areas of hyperspace. Another bug that caused the weather to remain permanently sunny has been patched. A notable correction involves the Mega Evolution Pokédex; previously, Shiny Pokémon obtained before the DLC’s release might not have been registered even after acquiring their Mega Stones. This has now been fixed.

Further adjustments address occasional visual glitches, such as unrelated scene images appearing during missions. A progression blocker in side mission 188, “Start Special Scanning!”, has also been resolved. Players who were stuck, even after earning the maximum survey points, should find they can advance by simply entering and then exiting a hyperspace area.

It is important to note that downloading this latest update is required to access any online features. Furthermore, local communication between players will not function if one is using a previous version of the game. This update builds upon the foundational changes introduced in the prior 2.0.0 patch, continuing to refine the gameplay experience for all trainers.
