– X aims to boost revenue by expanding premium tiers, addressing challenges in its ads business while helping organizations grow their influence on the platform.

X has introduced a significant rebranding of its premium services for companies and institutions, now splitting its former Verified Organizations program into two distinct offerings: Premium Business and Premium Organizations. The Premium Business tier is marked by a gold checkmark and aims to support businesses of all sizes in expanding their presence on the platform. In contrast, Premium Organizations, identified with a grey checkmark, is tailored for government bodies and multilateral institutions.

Under the Premium Business umbrella, X has rolled out a suite of tools intended to help companies scale effectively. This subscription is available in three levels: Basic, Full Access, and Enterprise. Each tier provides different resources to boost credibility, enhance visibility through affiliate badges, and offer advanced impersonation defense tools. Subscribers also benefit from faster access to human support for resolving issues promptly.

Additional features included in Premium Business cover hiring solutions, real-time monitoring of brand and industry trends, and access to SuperGrok. X has also announced upcoming perks such as priority handles and a marketplace where businesses can acquire inactive but valuable usernames. According to the company, certain inactive handles will be offered free to Premium Business subscribers, while more sought-after ones will be available for purchase.

Pricing for Premium Business starts at $200 per month for the Basic plan, which covers essential tools for establishing a business profile on X. The Full Access tier is priced at $1,000 monthly and includes affiliate features, rapid support, priority handles, impersonation protection, and early access to new platform capabilities. The Enterprise level offers advanced tools, dedicated account management, and tailored support, with pricing customized to each organization’s needs.

Meanwhile, the Premium Organizations plan is set at $1,000 per month. For a limited period, X is offering a promotional incentive where subscribers receive 100% of their subscription cost in advertising credits.

Seth Fuchs from X Engineering emphasized in a statement that X serves as a vital space for organizations aiming to increase their influence and engage directly with key audiences. He described the platform as the “world’s town square” and indicated that these new offerings represent just the beginning of X’s efforts to support organizational growth.

By introducing these new premium tiers, including a more affordable $200 option, X appears to be strategically diversifying its revenue streams amid ongoing challenges in its advertising business.
