Ubisoft has closed another one of its support studios, this time shutting down Ubisoft Belgrade and laying off roughly 100 employees. The move follows the sudden closure of Ubisoft Winnipeg and signals a broader restructuring within the French publisher.

Founded in 2016, the Serbian studio started with just 10 people and grew into a key support hub over the years. It contributed to major titles including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Wildlands, The Crew 2, Rainbow Six, and Skull & Bones. Now, all staff at the Belgrade location have been let go.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Ubisoft is “revamping” its interproject processes and introducing new strategies. These changes have led directly to studio closures, staff reductions, and employees being reassigned or removed from certain projects.

Ubisoft has not responded to multiple requests for comment on the Belgrade shutdown or the broader layoffs.
