This move, directed by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, places a renewed focus on regulating and developing the emirate’s digital landscape.
The newly reconstituted council will be led by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Chairman, with His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan serving as Vice-Chairman. The membership includes a roster of prominent figures, such as His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak as Secretary General. Other members appointed to the council are His Excellency Dr Ahmed Mubarak bin Nawi Al Mazrouei, His Excellency Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, His Excellency Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abushibs, His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, His Excellency Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, and Mr Peng Xiao.
