LG has taken the wraps off its latest television innovations at CES, headlined by the new OLED evo G6. This flagship model promises a significant leap in picture quality with a 20% increase in brightness and a dramatically improved anti-reflection screen. It also stakes a claim as the world’s first TV with built-in 4K 120Hz cloud gaming support, catering directly to the high-performance gaming community. The G6 utilizes an advanced Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel and Hyper Radiant Color technology to enhance color and contrast alongside its boosted luminance.

A key visual upgrade is the Reflection Free Premium technology, which LG states achieves a screen reflectance of less than 0.5%. This allows the TV to maintain deep black levels even in brightly lit rooms. For gamers, the set is fully loaded with support for Nvidia G-Sync, FreeSync Premium Pro, and a 4K 165Hz refresh rate. A unique Motion Booster mode can even push 1080p gaming to an impressive 330Hz.

Alongside the G6, LG introduced a split in its popular C-series lineup. The new LG C6H, available in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes, incorporates the same high-performance Primary RGB Tandem panel found in last year’s flagship G5 model. This should grant it a major brightness advantage over its predecessor. The standard LG C6 will come in more compact 42 to 65-inch sizes and will use a different panel technology.

Making a striking return is the ultra-thin W6 ‘Wallpaper’ TV. This model packs the G6’s screen and processing into a sleek 9.9mm body. All connectivity is handled by a separate wireless Zero Connect box, leaving only a single power cable attached to the screen itself. This design allows the TV to sit nearly flush against a wall, blending seamlessly into its surroundings.

Powering these new OLEDs is the latest Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3. It enables faster navigation and introduces a suite of AI-driven features housed in a new AI Hub. This includes AI Concierge and AI Search powered by Copilot and Gemini, along with picture enhancements like AI Genre TruMotion for reducing judder and AI Super Upscaling. For audio, the AI Sound Pro feature offers virtual 11.1.2 channel upmixing, though the sets will continue to lack support for DTS audio formats.

Beyond OLED, LG is expanding its QNED mini-LED TV lineup with massive screens up to 115 inches, powered by an Alpha 8 AI Processor. The company also unveiled a new Gallery TV, an art-focused model that comes with a physical frame and uses a subscription service to display a library of thousands of images. LG has not yet announced pricing or availability details for its new OLED models, but confirmed that a more affordable B6 series is also in development for later in the year.
