Nintendo has rolled out another batch of retro titles for its Switch Online service, this time pulling from the short-lived Virtual Boy library. Five games originally released in 1995 are now available to play, including Jack Bros, Space Invaders Virtual Collection, Vertical Force, Virtual Bowling, and V-Tetris. Subscribers with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership can access these classics through the dedicated “Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics” app, downloadable from the Nintendo eShop.
In addition to the games, Expansion Pack members can grab five new Switch Online profile icons themed around the Virtual Boy, though these are only available for a limited time. These icons are fully customizable with borders and backgrounds, allowing players to personalize their Switch home screen. To acquire them, users spend Platinum Points, which are earned for free by completing various My Nintendo missions.
