Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 prices and Bluetooth specs leak

Samsung is expected to unveil two new smartwatches later this month: the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Alongside fresh health, fitness, and wellness capabilities, these devices are rumored to bring meaningful connectivity upgrades. A recent leak now reveals their anticipated pricing for the European market, along with key Bluetooth specifications.

According to a report from WinFuture, both the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will support Bluetooth 6.0, a notable step up for faster and more reliable connections. The report also suggests they will feature dual-band Wi-Fi, though it remains unclear whether this will be the same Wi-Fi 5 standard found on previous models or a newer standard like Wi-Fi 6. NFC will also be included for contactless payments.

Under the hood, all of these connectivity features are reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip. Both the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 are expected to use Qualcomm’s latest processor instead of Samsung’s own Exynos W1000. The Galaxy Watch 9 is said to come with 32GB of storage, while the Watch Ultra 2 could offer 64GB. Both models will reportedly pack 2GB of RAM.

Battery specifications also differ between the two. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to include a 325mAh battery, while the 44mm variant may use a 445mAh battery. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is rumored to house a much larger 800mAh battery, matching previous reports. Both smartwatches are expected to launch running Wear OS 7 with One UI 9 Watch on top.
