VSCO has officially thrown its hat into the professional editing ring with the launch of Studio Pro, a new photo editing app arriving today on iOS with a macOS version expected later this year, as first reported by Bloomberg. The app is designed to streamline high-volume workflows, offering tools for batch editing, style matching from a reference image, and direct sharing through VSCO Galleries. Future updates will bring support for RAW images, advanced export options, and additional editing controls like aspect ratio adjustments.

According to a press release, Studio Pro targets photographers managing large-scale shoots , think “weddings, portraits, events, sports, school photography, and other large-scale photoshoots.” The goal is to replace what VSCO calls the “fragmented approach” of juggling separate software for editing, client communication, and image delivery.

The VSCO One subscription, priced at $500 per year, will launch later this month. That price matches an annual Adobe Creative Cloud Pro plan, but VSCO bundles a broader ecosystem: Studio Pro, Capture, Galleries, Workspace, Sites, AI Lab, Canvas, and its Freelance Photographer business mentorship program. For professionals tired of piecing together tools from multiple vendors, VSCO is betting that a unified, subscription-based suite can deliver a more cohesive experience.
