Publisher FuRyu and developer Winning Entertainment Group (formerly Natsume Atari) have officially announced ANOMALITH, a new survival third-person shooter set to launch on PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC (Steam) on October 29 worldwide.

In Western markets, the game will be available digitally in two editions: a $49.99 Standard Edition and a $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition. For Japanese players, both the PS5 and Switch 2 versions will be offered physically and digitally, with the Switch 2 release using a game-key card instead of a standard cartridge.

According to FuRyu, ANOMALITH plunges players into an alternate reality twisted by mysterious forces. The story is set in the year 19, when spatial anomalies called “Otherworlds” begin appearing without warning. The government’s Danger Zone Countermeasures Office has failed to contain or explain the threat. Players step into the role of Reona Minazuki, an investigator who wakes from a decade-long sleep inside an anomaly known as the “Sarcophagus”None. This experience grants her a heightened sensitivity to the Otherworlds. Alongside her colleagues and commanding officers, Reona fights to protect humanity and save a close friend.

Gameplay revolves around third-person gunplay against erratic, aggressive enemies. Stunned foes can be finished with melee attacks. Environments include reality-bending spaces such as an apartment with inverted gravity or an endless train, designed to disorient and unsettle players. Careful inventory management and situational awareness are crucial to survival. Reona can also acquire and upgrade unique abilities through the Demi-Humanization System, which draws power directly from the anomalies.

Customization is a major focus. ANOMALITH offers a vast arsenal of weapons, attachments, outfit items, and artifacts. Some artifacts bestow good or bad luck while adding special abilities to weapons. Reona’s appearance is highly customizable, with over 300 items spread across nine body slots.

Between missions, players return to a home base where they can interact with a diverse cast of characters, unlock powerful upgrades, and learn more about the world. While exploring the Otherworlds, players can collect more than 200 investigation reports that detail the behaviors and mysteries of each anomaly.

The development team brings together notable talent. Scenario lead Romeo Tanaka (Stella of the End, Humanity Has Declined) crafts the narrative. Character designer MON (Nisio Isin’s Legends series) shapes the visual identity. Composer Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring, Sekiro, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, Witch Hat Atelier) provides the soundtrack. ANOMALITH is published by FuRyu and developed by Winning Entertainment Group, formerly known as Natsume Atari.
