Claude users can now tap into a wider range of everyday services through Anthropic’s AI assistant, thanks to new connectors that cover everything from grocery delivery to tax filing. While Anthropic previously focused on integrating work-related tools like Microsoft apps, this latest expansion brings in personal favorites such as Audible, Spotify, Uber, AllTrails, TripAdvisor, Instacart, and TurboTax. Some of these, like Spotify, already have similar links in OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
Once a user connects an app, Claude will proactively suggest it during relevant conversations. For instance, if you ask for trail recommendations, the assistant might prompt you to use AllTrails directly. Anthropic emphasizes privacy in its announcement, stating, “Your data from [connected apps] isn’t used to train our models, and the app doesn’t see your other conversations with Claude. You can also disconnect it at any time.”
The company also assures users that “there are no paid placements or sponsored answers in conversations with Claude.” When multiple apps could be helpful, Claude ranks the results “by what’s most useful.” Before executing any action like making a purchase or booking a reservation, the assistant will ask for your confirmation.
These new connectors are available now across all Claude plans. To browse or add apps, users can head to the “connectors” option under the “customize” tab on the Claude sidebar.
