– It is priced at $1,499, which includes an OMNI Station dock that empties its dirt bin, washes its mop, and refills its water reservoirs.
– The robovac’s dock provides fast charging, replenishing 13% of its battery in three minutes and enabling it to clean up to 1,000 square meters without a full stop.
– A new feature is the Mop Roller Smart Cover, which deploys when the vacuum moves from hard floors to carpet to prevent drips.
– Upgrades over the previous model include increased suction power, a wider roller mop with a pressurized rinse system, and improved ZeroTangle technology to reduce hair tangles.

A new robotic vacuum from Ecovacs is taking a targeted approach to stubborn messes. The company has unveiled the Deebot X12 OmniCyclone, a premium model that introduces a novel pretreatment jet system. This feature allows the robot to identify dried-on stains like mud or juice using its onboard cameras and artificial intelligence. Before its roller mop passes over the spot, the X12 sprays a precise mixture of water and cleaning solution to loosen the debris, aiming for a more thorough clean in one automated cycle.

Available now for $1,499, the package includes the robovac and its accompanying OMNI Station dock. This base station handles several maintenance tasks automatically. It empties the robot’s dirt bin into a bagless canister, washes the mop pads with heated, pressurized water, and refills the onboard water and solution tanks. The dock also provides rapid charging, restoring 13 percent of the battery in just three minutes. With regular top-ups during cleaning cycles, Ecovacs states the X12 can cover up to 1,000 square meters on a single charge cycle.

Several key upgrades distinguish this model from its predecessor, the X11. The cleaning width has been increased with a 10.6-inch roller mop, which is continually rinsed by a 32-channel pressurized spray system. A new Mop Roller Smart Cover automatically engages when the robot moves from hard floors to carpeting, preventing any moisture transfer. For suction performance, the maximum power has been boosted to 22,000Pa. The system also incorporates an enhanced ZeroTangle technology designed to minimize hair wrap around the main brush, reducing the need for manual intervention between runs.
