HP’s latest Omen gaming laptops for 2026 mark a significant branding shift, replacing the traditional HP logo with the prominent HyperX gaming tech insignia across the lid and bezel. While the external design remains largely unchanged from the previous year, the internal specifications see notable upgrades across the board, including new display options and the latest processor architectures.

The Omen 15 steps in to replace the Victus 15, featuring a 15.3-inch 16:10 aspect ratio display. The base model offers a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, with a high-end configuration available featuring a stunning 3K 120Hz OLED screen. Every model includes a four-zone RGB backlit keyboard with an impressive 8K polling rate, a feature available across all new Omen laptops for an additional cost. Buyers can choose between the latest Intel or AMD processors. The system starts with an Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU and can be configured up to an RTX 5070, with both graphics options featuring 8GB of VRAM. It comes standard with 8GB of DDR5 RAM and offers two user-accessible slots for easy upgrades.

Moving up, the Omen 16 also provides a choice between Intel and AMD chipsets. A key distinction is that only the AMD configurations offer two slots of user-serviceable RAM. For graphics, users can select between the Nvidia RTX 5060 or 5070, both with 8GB of VRAM. Its 16-inch 16:10 display shares the same starting resolution as the Omen 15 but can be upgraded to a vibrant 2.5K 165Hz OLED panel. The screen-to-body ratio is slightly lower than the 15-inch model, at 87 percent compared to 91 percent. This laptop is available in both black and white color options.

At the top of the lineup sits the Omen Max 16, designed for maximum performance. Its premium 2.5K OLED screen pushes the refresh rate to a blistering 240Hz. Graphics options begin at the RTX 5070 Ti and scale up to the flagship RTX 5090 for the ultimate gaming experience. The processor choice between AMD and Intel affects the potential memory configuration. Top-tier Intel models support up to 64GB of DDR5-6400 RAM, while AMD models max out at 48GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. Both variants allow users to replace the memory themselves. Like the Omen 16, this high-performance model comes in black or white.

Pricing details and specific launch dates for these new Omen laptops have not yet been released by HP.
