Samsung Health is set to become a far more comprehensive digital health platform for users in India. The app, which is pre-installed on Galaxy smartphones, will soon integrate a new Find Care feature that allows for ordering medicines, booking diagnostic tests, and scheduling doctor consultations directly within the interface. This significant expansion transforms the service from a fitness and wellness tracker into a holistic healthcare management tool.

The update is scheduled to begin rolling out on February 24, 2026. It is made possible through strategic partnerships with two major Indian healthcare platforms: PharmEasy and Tata 1mg. This integration means Galaxy users can manage a wide spectrum of health needs without switching between multiple applications.

As an introductory incentive, PharmEasy will provide a six-month complimentary PharmEasy Plus membership to users who complete their first transaction through the Samsung Health app. This membership typically includes benefits like added savings and free delivery on pharmacy orders.

A company executive highlighted the importance of this development. “Our collaboration with Samsung Health marks a significant step in integrating everyday technology with accessible healthcare,” said Gaurav Verma, Chief Business Officer at PharmEasy. He noted that the partnership aims to deliver greater value, accessibility, and user control over personal healthcare management.

Currently, Samsung Health offers robust tracking capabilities, especially when paired with compatible Galaxy Watch devices. Users can monitor physical activity, sleep patterns, heart rate, blood pressure, and electrocardiogram (ECG) data. The app also supports logging nutritional intake, setting medication reminders, and storing personal health records.

The addition of Find Care represents a clear strategic shift. Samsung is evolving its app beyond simple metric tracking to facilitate direct access to medical services, creating a more seamless digital health ecosystem. A representative from the other partner echoed this vision for integrated care.

“The collaboration between Samsung and Tata 1mg empowers users to take charge of their well-being outside of traditional healthcare settings,” explained Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Vice President of Medical Affairs at Tata 1mg. He suggested the partnership could spur innovation in digital therapeutics, making health solutions more accessible and effective for a broader audience.

This move positions Samsung Health as a potential one-stop destination for Indian consumers, blending proactive wellness monitoring with convenient access to essential medical and pharmaceutical services.
