Vodafone Oman has forged a strategic partnership with Software Group to advance the development of next-generation digital financial services across the Sultanate. This collaboration is set to accelerate the nation’s digital economy, promote greater financial inclusion, and deliver tailored financial solutions for individuals, businesses, and public institutions.
The alliance will harness Software Group’s DigiWave Digital Banking Platform, along with a comprehensive suite of digital channels. These include mobile wallets, agency banking, mobile and internet banking, digital lending, and integration services. These tools are designed to address the growing demands of Oman’s financial landscape, supporting a wide range of stakeholders from banks and fintech firms to government bodies and enterprises.
According to Sayyid Fahad Abdul Aziz Saud Al-Busaidi, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Vodafone Oman, the primary goal is to eliminate obstacles that prevent access to essential services. He stated that the partnership will enable a smooth incorporation of digital financial tools into their ecosystem, offering customers both security and convenience in managing daily financial activities.
