Virtualware, a prominent developer of extended reality and simulation software, has secured a €5 million contract to expand its VIROO platform across dozens of new vocational training centers. This initiative, backed by Spain’s Ministry of Education, aims to modernize skills development for both young learners and adult professionals.
The six-year agreement will introduce VIROO to an additional 66 vocational training centers designated as ‘Centres of Excellence.’ These facilities are operated under the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport. With this expansion, more than 90 centers nationwide will now offer access to advanced XR training tools, significantly broadening the reach of immersive learning.

One notable application of VIROO technology is showcased in its collaboration with ADIF, Spain’s national rail infrastructure manager.
