Apple has just introduced its latest lineup of smartwatches, featuring the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3. Each model brings significant upgrades in health monitoring, connectivity, and battery performance, reinforcing Apple’s commitment to innovation in wearable technology.

The Apple Watch Series 11 introduces a groundbreaking hypertension detection feature. By analyzing data from the optical heart sensor, it monitors how blood vessels react to heartbeats over time. The system reviews information across 30-day intervals and alerts users if it detects patterns suggesting chronic high blood pressure. Apple anticipates notifying more than one million individuals with undiagnosed hypertension within the first year. This functionality will also extend to Series 9 and Series 10 models.

Sleep quality receives a major boost with the new Sleep Score feature. It evaluates duration, bedtime consistency, interruptions, and time spent in different sleep stages to offer personalized suggestions for more restorative rest. Connectivity sees an upgrade with the inclusion of 5G support, which enhances coverage and improves battery efficiency compared to older LTE versions. Users can expect up to 24 hours of battery life. The Series 11 is available in Jet Black, Silver, Rose Gold, and a new Space Gray finish, starting at $399.

Moving to the high-end model, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 debuts with a larger, brighter display and introduces satellite connectivity. This allows users to send emergency messages and share their location via satellite when beyond the reach of cellular or Wi-Fi networks. Like the Series 11, it also supports 5G and hypertension alerts.

Battery life is notably extended, offering up to 42 hours under normal use and an impressive 72 hours in low power mode. The device incorporates LTPO3 and wide-angle OLED technology, resulting in the largest and brightest screen ever featured on an Apple Watch, with borders that are 24% thinner. Available in Black and Natural Titanium, the Ultra 3 starts at $799.

The Apple Watch SE 3 receives a substantial upgrade with the new S10 chip, delivering a significant performance leap over its predecessor. For the first time in the SE line, an always-on display is supported, along with intuitive gestures like double-tap and wrist flick.

Battery life reaches 18 hours with all-day usability, and fast charging is now included. Another notable addition is wrist temperature sensing, which provides retrospective ovulation estimates and deeper health insights through the vitals app. The SE 3 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with Midnight and Starlight aluminum case options, starting at $249.
