Sony Announces Release Date and Price for New PlayStation Accessories

The trio of accessories includes the PlayStation FlexStrike wireless fight stick, a 27-inch QHD IPS gaming monitor, and the Pulse Elevate Bluetooth speakers. Preorders for the fight stick and monitor open within weeks, with both hitting shelves in August. The speakers, however, are still waiting for their moment. Sony has not shared any further details on when they will launch or how much they will cost.
Let’s start with the PlayStation FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick. Priced at $200, preorders go live on June 12, and the stick ships on Aug. 6. The timing is deliberate: it arrives alongside Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new fighting title from Arc System Works, the studio behind Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. What sets the FlexStrike apart from generic fight sticks is its deep integration with the PlayStation ecosystem. It includes DualSense-style controls such as a touchpad, Share, Options, L3, and R3 buttons, so you don’t lose any functionality during gameplay. If you prefer to keep your DualSense connected for menu navigation, that works too. The stick also connects to a Pulse Elite wireless headset through a PS Link USB adapter, delivering ultra-low latency audio and voice chat. Two FlexStrikes can link up directly for head-to-head matches. Sony claims 4ms input lag and up to 40 hours of battery life.
The design prioritizes ergonomics, with a thinner profile than traditional sticks and a built-in storage compartment for the PS Link adapter and cables. It even comes with a crossbody carrying case.
Next up is the PlayStation 27″ Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook, first teased in November 2025. The standout feature is its flip-down charging cradle for your controller, built right into the display. The monitor costs $350, with preorders opening June 5 and a release date of Aug. 27. Unlike Sony’s earlier InZone monitors, which used mini LED backlights with local dimming for true HDR, this one uses an IPS panel with what appears to be a standard backlight. Sony has not yet disclosed brightness specs. It does support Auto HDR Tone Mapping, which converts a game’s standard tonal range to an HDR curve, improving midtone visuals. Resolution is 2,560 x 1,440, with a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz over HDMI on a PS5. Connect it to a PC or Mac via DisplayPort, and you can push that to 240Hz. Ports include two HDMI, one DisplayPort, two USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, a built-in stereo speaker, and a 3.5mm audio output. It’s also VESA mount compatible.
For now, the Pulse Elevate Bluetooth speakers remain a question mark. Sony has not provided a release window or price, leaving fans waiting for the final piece of the puzzle.
