Alogic has expanded its lineup of Mac-compatible displays with a fresh wave of touchscreen and portable monitors, all designed to fill the gap Apple has left untouched. Announced this week, the new releases include the FOKUS interactive touchscreen series, the Aspekt Touch 27-inch monitor, and updated Folio portable touchscreen displays, each bringing direct touch and stylus input to macOS.
While Apple has yet to ship a Mac with a touchscreen, Alogic has become a go-to brand for users who want that capability today. The company’s latest products are built to let Mac owners navigate, annotate, and create using touch gestures and a stylus, bridging a key feature gap in the Apple ecosystem.
The FOKUS series targets collaborative settings like conference rooms, classrooms, and studios. Available in 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes, all three models feature 4K resolution and support multitouch input. They work with Alogic’s Active Stylus, which offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity for precise writing, drawing, and annotation. Because macOS lacks native touch support, Alogic provides companion software that enables gestures, navigation, and creative tools on connected Macs, a capability the company has refined in earlier displays like its Clarity line.
Alongside the large-format options, Alogic introduced the Aspekt Touch 27-inch, a smaller sibling to the existing 32-inch model. This monitor packs a 4K panel with 600 nits of brightness and integrated docking features, including multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, Ethernet, and audio. It supports HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C connections, and can deliver 90 watts of charging power to a connected laptop. Buyers can choose from Silver or Space Black finishes, and three stand configurations: a standard Raise Stand, a Fold Stand that tilts the screen for comfortable stylus work, and an Omni Fold Stand that adds a built-in mount for a Mac mini at the base.
For users on the move, Alogic refreshed its Folio portable touchscreen monitors. These displays feature a folding cover that doubles as a stand and connect via USB-C, making them natural travel companions for MacBooks. The standard Folio offers a single 16-inch screen at 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, while the Folio Duo stacks two such screens vertically. The Duo can also rotate 90 degrees to position the displays side by side in portrait orientation.
Many portable touchscreen monitors on the market function only as standard displays when connected to a Mac, but Alogic has differentiated its offerings by enabling full touch input on macOS. That allows users to interact directly with apps, presentations, documents, and creative projects without relying solely on a trackpad or mouse.
The timing aligns with growing interest in touchscreen Macs. Rumors have persisted for years that Apple is exploring touch-enabled hardware, with the first such device, reportedly a “MacBook Ultra,” expected in late 2026 or early 2027. Until then, third-party solutions like Alogic’s monitors provide a practical way to add touch functionality to existing setups.
The new displays were showcased at InfoComm 2026 this week. The FOKUS series will launch by September, priced at $2,799 for the 43-inch, $3,299 for the 55-inch, and $3,999 for the 65-inch model. The Folio ($899) and Folio Duo ($1,299) are expected around the same time. The Aspekt Touch 27-inch, starting at $1,799, and the Active Stylus with wireless charging ($149) will be available starting next month.
