The Tel Aviv-based defence-AI startup Airis Labs has officially exited stealth mode, announcing a $31 million Series B round led by PSG Equity. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $60 million as it accelerates its expansion into the U.S. market from a new hub in Washington DC.

Founded just over two and a half years ago, Airis Labs has quietly developed a video-intelligence platform tailored for military and defence applications. The company’s technology is designed to process vast amounts of visual data in real time, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making on the battlefield. By leveraging advanced computer vision and machine learning, the system can identify threats, track movements, and provide actionable intelligence without the delays typical of human analysis.

The fresh capital will be used to scale operations in the United States, where demand for autonomous and AI-driven defence tools is rising sharply. Airis Labs plans to hire additional engineering and sales talent, deepen partnerships with government agencies, and refine its product for a broader range of military use cases.

“Our mission is to give warfighters a decisive information advantage,” said the company’s CEO in a statement. “This funding allows us to bring our technology to the front lines faster and at greater scale.”

The stealth period allowed Airis Labs to develop and test its system without public scrutiny, a common strategy for defence startups navigating sensitive contracts and security clearance requirements. Now, with a proven product and strong financial backing, the company is positioning itself as a serious contender in the rapidly growing market for defence AI and video intelligence.
