Capcom has officially opened pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem, the highly anticipated survival horror title launching for the Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27th next year. Fans can now reserve their copy through the Switch 2 eShop, choosing between a standard edition and a more feature-rich deluxe version. The standard edition is priced at £64.99 or $69.99, while the deluxe edition costs £74.99 or $79.99. Anyone who pre-orders either version will immediately receive a special bonus: the Grace: Apocalypse costume.

The deluxe edition itself comes packed with extra digital content to enhance the experience. This includes five distinct costumes, one of which is Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu. Players will also get two visual filters, including the Filter: Apocalypse, and four weapon skins such as the S&S Weapon Skin: Apocalypse. The package is rounded out with two charms, one being the Charm: Mr. Raccoon, an Audio Pack titled Raccoon City Classic, and a collection of Files: Letters from 1998.

In addition to the game, Capcom unveiled a special Resident Evil Requiem Pro Controller designed specifically for the Switch 2. Sporting a sleek gunmetal finish and featuring iconic series artwork, this limited edition controller will launch on the same day as the game. For collectors and amiibo enthusiasts, the announcement of a Grace Ashcroft amiibo slated for a Summer 2026 release is particularly exciting. While its specific in-game functionality and final design remain under wraps, its arrival is sure to be a welcome addition.

Capcom plans to host a new Resident Evil Showcase early in 2026, offering a more detailed look at Resident Evil Requiem just before it hits shelves. For players who want an extensive collection, the company is also offering a ‘Generation Pack’. This special bundle includes Resident Evil Requiem alongside Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil: Village, with all three games launching simultaneously on the Switch 2. The entire collection is available for $89.99, and each game will be provided on a physical Game-Key Card.

With these reveals and the franchise’s 30th anniversary on the horizon, Capcom is clearly giving Resident Evil fans a lot to look forward to in the coming year.
