The collaboration between 7X, a prominent holding group in trade, transport, and logistics, and UAEV, the first government-owned EV charging network, was officially launched at the GITEX GLOBAL 2025 exhibition. This alliance is structured around a Memorandum of Understanding that outlines a comprehensive plan to develop, manage, and promote a widespread network of EV charging stations.
The core objective of this initiative is to speed up the transition to eco-friendly vehicle fleets and improve sustainable mobility options available throughout the country. It directly supports the UAE’s broader strategic aims, which include encouraging the use of clean transport, meeting national sustainability targets, and incorporating digital innovations such as the ‘Wayn’ platform for secure and efficient official communications.
