Blending nostalgic charm with contemporary performance, the Silverstone FLP02 retro PC case delivers a compelling fusion of vintage aesthetics and modern thermal engineering. Designed to house today’s high-performance components, this chassis offers both style and substance for enthusiasts seeking a distinctive build.

Silverstone introduced the FLP02 at Computex 2025, marking the company’s second venture into retro-styled enclosures following the popular FLP01. Constructed from a combination of steel and plastic, the case features a classic beige finish that pays homage to early desktop designs. Measuring 9.13 x 19.45 x 18.58 inches and weighing just over 21 pounds, it strikes a balance between presence and practicality, making it well-suited for desk placement.

Compatibility spans a range of motherboard form factors, including mini-ITX, microATX, ATX, and SSI-CEB. While smaller boards may look modest inside the spacious interior, the case offers seven standard expansion slots with the option for two more when mounting a GPU vertically. Graphics card support is generous: cards up to 15.2 inches long can be installed if the front drive cage is removed, or 11 inches with it in place. Even large models like the GeForce RTX 5090 can be accommodated. Power supply clearance extends to 9.8 inches, ensuring compatibility with high-wattage units like Corsair’s 3000W model.

Cooling capabilities are thoroughly modern. The FLP02 includes mounts for two 120mm front fans and a rear position supporting 120mm or 140mm fans, with three black fans included out of the box. The top panel offers even more flexibility, supporting three 120mm, two 140mm, or two 160mm fans. Radiator support is equally robust, with front mounts accepting 120mm or 140mm models and the top accommodating radiators up to 360mm. For air cooling, CPU cooler clearance reaches 7.2 inches, easily housing large coolers like the Noctua NH-D15 G2 or Jiushark JF15K.

Storage and expansion options include three external 5.25-inch bays, ideal for optical drives or controllers, along with dedicated internal bays for up to two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. A third combo bay supports an additional two drives of either size.

The front panel retains a retro feel with a flick-style power switch, reset button, and a turbo button, complemented by a key lock to prevent accidental presses. An integrated fan controller supports up to eight PWM fans, with the turbo button activating full-speed operation. A digital display shows fan duty cycles, while connectivity includes one USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a combo audio jack. Status LEDs for power, turbo mode, and drive activity complete the vintage-inspired interface.

Silverstone plans to release the FLP02 in the U.S. market during the fourth quarter of this year.
