A new strategic partnership in Morocco is set to significantly enhance digital access and entrepreneurial support within the Rabat–Salé–Kénitra region. The Agence de Développement du Digital (ADD) has officially joined forces with the Association for the Management of the Center for Very Small Solidarity Enterprises (CTPES), the body responsible for the Solidarity Digital Incubator located in Salé. This collaboration is designed to actively promote innovation, boost entrepreneurship, and advance digital inclusion, thereby strengthening the country’s push toward a more equitable and vibrant digital economy.
The formal agreement was unveiled at the closing ceremony of the Solidarity Digital Hackathon, highlighting the nation’s focused efforts on empowering youth entrepreneurship and fostering social innovation through technological means. This initiative directly supports the royal vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which consistently champions digital transformation and entrepreneurial activity as essential drivers for economic integration. Special emphasis is placed on creating pathways for young individuals from underserved communities to participate meaningfully in the digital sector.
Through this partnership, ADD and CTPES will work hand-in-hand to support emerging digital entrepreneurs. They will gain entry to the advanced infrastructure of the IDS, which includes a fully equipped Fablab, or digital fabrication laboratory. Beyond physical resources, participants will receive targeted technical mentorship and benefit from structured capacity-building programs tailored for startups. A key component involves linking these new ventures with national digital platforms operated by ADD, smoothing their entry into Morocco’s rapidly growing technology ecosystem.
By combining their specialized knowledge and resources, both institutions intend to stimulate substantial value creation, encourage a culture of innovation, and widen economic prospects for the nation’s youth. This cooperative effort mirrors the overarching objectives of the “Digital Morocco 2030” strategy, which seeks to construct a resilient, inclusive, and innovation-led digital economy capable of empowering every segment of Moroccan society.
