Apple is reportedly initiating a significant executive reshuffle as former Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams prepares to retire later this year. According to a detailed report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the technology giant is redistributing key responsibilities across its leadership team. One notable change involves Eddy Cue, who currently heads Apple’s services division. He is expected to take charge of the health and fitness teams, which are rumored to be developing a new subscription service tentatively called Health Plus.

Jeff Williams, who previously directed Apple’s health initiatives, handed over his COO duties to Sabih Khan, the company’s former vice president of operations, back in July. As Williams’ departure at year’s end approaches, the company is dividing his remaining roles among other senior executives. Software chief Craig Federighi will now oversee the watchOS division, while hardware leader John Ternus is set to manage Apple Watch hardware engineering.

In another development, Johnny Srouji, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware technologies, is said to be evaluating his future with the company. This comes just months after his team successfully launched Apple’s first in-house cellular modem, a critical component for its devices.

Further adjustments are also underway within the organization. The report indicates that Jay Blahnik, Apple’s fitness chief, will now report to Sumbul Desai, the vice president of health. This structural change occurs amid an internal investigation into workplace conduct. Both executives previously reported directly to Jeff Williams. The situation gained public attention in August when The New York Times covered a lawsuit filed by a former employee against Blahnik, alleging he fostered a toxic work environment.
