Semperis has launched a new version of its Ready1 platform, specifically designed for managing identity-related crises. This integrated solution merges the company’s Active Directory Forest Recovery, Disaster Recovery for Entra Tenant, and Identity Forensics and Incident Response services into a unified enterprise crisis management system. The goal is to help organizations swiftly restore normal business functions following cyberattacks that target identity infrastructure.
Alex Weinert, Chief Product Officer at Semperis, explained the critical challenge this product addresses. “When identity systems fail, standard communication channels like email, conferencing tools, and file-sharing services often become inaccessible. Coordinating a response becomes incredibly difficult. Ready1 for Identity Crisis Management equips teams with the necessary tools to streamline incident response and recover identity systems efficiently, which dramatically cuts downtime. Providing identity resilience is central to our mission, and we’re pleased to offer this enhanced capability to our customers without extra charges.”
The platform delivers automated capabilities that allow organizations to orchestrate their response through a centralized command-and-control console. This console simplifies team assembly, incident analysis, and real-time status reporting. It also enables communication with team members and stakeholders even when standard internet services are disrupted. By integrating with ADFR and DRET, the system helps recover vital identity systems to a verified trusted state, minimizing the damage from a security breach. Additionally, it supports post-attack forensic activities to eliminate attacker persistence mechanisms and close security gaps, thereby preventing subsequent incidents.
James Bowie, Vice President and CISO at Tampa General Hospital, highlighted the broader utility of the platform. “Ready1 is built around identity principles, which gives it power beyond just cybersecurity events. In any emergency, knowing who your personnel are, what resources they control, and how to contact them is absolutely fundamental. This system turns that knowledge into a tangible operational benefit by reliably linking people, processes, and critical decisions in real-time, no matter the situation.”
Mickey Bresman, CEO of Semperis, noted the company’s deep experience in this area. “We essentially authored the guidebook for cyber-first hybrid identity recovery. Through our incident response work assisting organizations hit by ransomware targeting hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID, we’ve repeatedly seen the disorder that erupts when corporate identity systems are compromised. By unifying identity recovery and cyber crisis management into one seamless offering, we enable businesses to bring together the right technology, processes, and personnel. This coordinated approach helps contain chaos, manage incidents effectively, and rapidly return identity systems to a secure, trusted condition.”
