Semperis has launched a significant new offering designed to strengthen organizational defenses against identity-focused cyber incidents. Ready1 for Identity Crisis Management integrates the company’s established identity recovery tools—Active Directory Forest Recovery (ADFR), Disaster Recovery for Entra Tenant (DRET), and Identity Forensics and Incident Response (IFIR)—with a structured crisis management system. This unified approach helps businesses accelerate their return to normal operations following disruptive identity attacks, and it is being offered at no extra charge to eligible clients.
Alex Weinert, Chief Product Officer at Semperis, emphasized the importance of a holistic strategy. He noted that identity outages can paralyze communication and coordination by disabling email, conferencing platforms, file sharing, and other identity-dependent services. Weinert explained that Ready1 equips organizations with the necessary resources to streamline incident response and restore identity infrastructure efficiently, which is essential for achieving true identity resilience. He added that providing this capability without additional cost reflects the company’s commitment to customer security.
The platform delivers several automated features to support rapid recovery. It includes a command-and-control console that helps coordinate team assembly, incident analysis, and status reporting. Communication tools enable teams to stay connected even when standard internet services are unavailable. By working alongside ADFR and DRET, the system allows for swift restoration of identity systems to a trusted state, minimizing the operational impact of a compromise. It also supports post-incident forensics to eliminate attacker persistence mechanisms and close security gaps, reducing the risk of subsequent breaches.
Mickey Bresman, CEO of Semperis, highlighted the company’s deep experience in identity recovery. He stated that through numerous incident response engagements involving hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID ransomware attacks, they have repeatedly observed the confusion that arises when identity systems fail. Bresman pointed out that combining identity recovery with cyber crisis management into one seamless solution enables organizations to align technology, processes, and personnel effectively. This coordination helps control chaos, manage incidents methodically, and restore identity systems to a secure condition more quickly.
Ready1 for Identity Crisis Management is available initially as a complimentary license for existing Semperis ADFR and DRET customers. A wider release is anticipated in early 2026.
