Ugreen Launches AI-Powered Smart Home Surveillance

▼ Summary
– Ugreen announced its new SynCare smart home product line at CES 2026, consisting of indoor cameras, an outdoor camera, and a video doorbell, all launching in the second half of 2026.
– The indoor cameras and video doorbell feature 4K capture, AI for recognizing people and events, and capabilities like colorized night vision and package detection.
– The system offers cross-camera awareness, allowing cameras to share AI-announced alerts about events like a baby crying detected by another unit.
– The outdoor camera uses AI-monitored zones to trigger escalating responses, from automatic recording to a warning light and finally an audible alarm with flashing lights.
– A central Smart Display D500 can act as a Wi-Fi hub for real-time monitoring, but all core features are accessible through a mobile app without requiring the display.
Ugreen is making a significant leap into the smart home security market with its new SynCare line of AI-powered surveillance cameras. The announcement at CES 2026 revealed a comprehensive system designed for both indoor and outdoor monitoring, featuring advanced artificial intelligence for proactive security. The product lineup includes two indoor cameras, an outdoor model, and a video doorbell, all slated for release in the latter half of 2026.
The indoor offerings are the ID500 Pro and ID500 Plus. These devices boast 4K video capture with pan and tilt functionality. A key feature is their f1.0 aperture, which promises excellent performance in low-light conditions and enables colorized night vision. Their integrated multimodal AI is engineered to recognize specific subjects like people and pets, as well as various events.
For monitoring the exterior of a home, the OD600 Pro outdoor camera features a hybrid bullet design. It supports pan, tilt, and optical zoom, and is built to be weather-resistant. Its AI capabilities extend to managing multiple detection zones. The system is designed to react progressively: if someone enters the outermost perimeter, recording begins automatically. Intrusion into a closer “warning zone” activates a white light and sends a phone notification. Breaching the innermost “alert zone” triggers a loud audible alarm and flashing blue and red lights on the camera itself.
Completing the ecosystem is the Video Doorbell DB600 Pro, which provides head-to-toe 4K video and includes intelligent package detection. A standout feature across the SynCare system is cross-camera awareness. This allows the cameras to work in concert; for example, if one camera detects a baby crying, another camera in a different room can broadcast an AI-generated audio message announcing the event. Ugreen also highlights behavior analysis as a core AI function, though specific alerts beyond examples like detecting “a stranger in black approaching the front door” were not detailed.
Users can manage this network through a mobile app. For a more integrated experience, Ugreen offers the Smart Display D500, which acts as a Wi-Fi hub and central monitoring screen for viewing live feeds from all connected cameras. The company clarifies that the smart display is optional and does not gatekeep any special features, ensuring full functionality is accessible via the smartphone application. Pricing for all products will be announced later in the year at IFA 2026.
