HubSpot’s April 2026 product release brings a significant wave of enhancements, focusing on customer self-service, deeper AI integration, and more granular data control. The updates span from a new customer-facing billing portal to AI assistants embedded in Slack and expanded social media management on Reddit.

The Commerce Hub Billing Portal is a major new feature in private beta. This customer-facing portal allows clients to log in and manage their own subscriptions, update payment methods, view invoices, and pay outstanding balances. This self-service option eliminates the manual back-and-forth for teams managing billing within HubSpot, keeping all financial data centralized instead of scattered across emails and spreadsheets. It signals a clear strategic direction for the Commerce Hub.

For onboarding and customer success, Customer Success Rooms provide a dedicated portal where clients can view assigned tasks, submit forms, and track their progress. Powered by a new “onboarding” Project type, this replaces the typical mix of emails and shared documents with a structured, automated flow. The vision includes a workflow that automatically creates an onboarding project when a deal closes, invites the customer, and lets them complete their pre-kickoff form without any manual intervention.

Sales teams get a practical upgrade with Power Dialer now supporting tasks. Previously limited to contact lists, the dialer can now work through a queue of call tasks. This aligns with how many reps actually manage their day, filtering to a view of call tasks and working through them sequentially. This feature is in public beta for Sales Hub Enterprise users.

HubSpot’s Breeze AI is now accessible directly within Slack via @mention. This live feature allows users to pull context from HubSpot records, create tasks, and save notes without leaving the Slack conversation. For example, a sales rep can ask for a deal summary mid-chat or a support agent can save a product team’s answer directly onto a service ticket. Additionally, Breeze now supports Projects, a dedicated workspace where users can save specific instructions, define a persona, and connect knowledge vaults. This eliminates the need to re-prompt the AI every time, ensuring consistent, tailored results for different use cases like sales strategy or marketing content.

The social media toolkit expands with Reddit integration, now in public beta. Users can publish posts, reply to comments, and track performance alongside other channels. HubSpot will also monitor Reddit for brand mentions and competitor sentiment, even surfacing conversations the brand should join. This connects directly to the AEO tool, allowing for one-click drafting of comments based on AI visibility recommendations.

Several data and admin improvements are now live. Billing cards now appear on contact and company records under a dedicated Revenue tab, providing quick access to payment methods and tax IDs. New earliest and latest date rollup properties allow pulling the most recent deal close date or earliest contract start date across associated records without custom workflows. The duplicate similarity score helps prioritize high-confidence matches, filtering out noise. Customized task properties and subtasks bring tasks into line with HubSpot’s data model, allowing for calculated properties and file-type fields. Column-level filtering in index views offers a spreadsheet-like experience for quick data questions. Finally, the HubSpot Connector for Microsoft Copilot lets teams query CRM data directly within Copilot conversations.

The Quote Rules feature in Commerce Hub (private beta) adds logic to prevent sales reps from going off-script. Rules can enforce product compatibility, cap discounts, and set quantity thresholds, ensuring quote accuracy and protecting margins. Meanwhile, the Data Agent can now analyze specific URLs from a property, running on a schedule to detect hiring signals on a target account’s careers page or pricing changes on a competitor’s site.

For prioritizing these updates, managers should watch the early-stage Customer Success Rooms and Billing Portal while immediately leveraging Breeze in Slack and Power Dialer task support. Admins can start using date rollup properties, custom task properties, and column-level filtering to remove long-standing workarounds, and request access to the Microsoft Copilot connector for future readiness.
