The popular content subscription platform OnlyFans is expanding its offerings with a new series of business-focused educational videos, marking a significant step beyond its traditional content categories. Rachael McCrary, founder of the lingerie brand Spice Rack and a former model, is launching four instructional videos on the platform. These sessions will cover essential entrepreneurial skills such as pitching to investors, developing a brand identity, and addressing the unique challenges women face in business. Additional videos are planned for the future, alongside a collaborative Spice Rack x OnlyFans apparel collection set to debut on the site later this year.

This initiative represents OnlyFans’ first dedicated effort to produce material centered entirely on business development. It aligns with the platform’s broader strategy to introduce more professional, safe-for-work content that coexists with its well-known adult-oriented material. Keily Blair, CEO of OnlyFans, emphasized that the platform’s large community of creator-led businesses makes it an ideal space for sharing entrepreneurial guidance. She noted that when one creator identifies a new opportunity in areas like comedy or sports, others often follow, and the same pattern could emerge with business education.

McCrary, who is 48, connected with Blair at the Summit Baja technology conference last November, where they conceived the idea for the business classes. Her background includes participation in SuicideGirls, an alternative pin-up community established in the early 2000s. McCrary has spoken openly about facing stigma in corporate fashion roles due to her past; on one occasion, she discovered coworkers viewing her SuicideGirls portfolio while she was at work, an experience she found deeply distressing.

Driven by these challenges, McCrary ventured into entrepreneurship but encountered additional hurdles. She observed that pitching an underwear brand to technology venture capitalists already placed her at a disadvantage, requiring extra effort to establish credibility. Industry data highlights that a very small percentage of companies receiving venture capital are entirely led by women. Her company, Spice Rack, counts Sequoia Partners China and Mucker Capital among its investors, placing it within that exclusive group.

McCrary describes the intersection of having an online modeling history and securing venture funding from top-tier firms as a “very rare Venn diagram.” She explained that OnlyFans had already been exploring ways to broaden its content into non-adult categories, making the collaboration a natural fit. They settled on a masterclass format for the business tutorials. The first two classes will be accessible at no cost, while the remainder will be available through a subscription to McCrary’s OnlyFans page.

Over time, McCrary has been approached by numerous young women, including some working in adult entertainment, seeking guidance on launching businesses or transitioning away from explicit content. After publicly sharing her own background during a 2022 panel discussion, an adult content creator expressed that knowing McCrary’s history made her feel hopeful about building a career beyond her current work.
