Pax8, a prominent cloud commerce marketplace, has strengthened its leadership team by appointing Kathryn Almendarez Marsman as the new Senior Vice President of Global Vendor Alliances. In this position, she will oversee all vendor alliance activities, act as a strategic sponsor for international relationships, and drive the creation of global practice and go-to-market strategies. Marsman will report directly to Oguo Atuanya, Corporate Vice President of Vendor Experience at Pax8.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Marsman has extensive expertise in global partner strategy, business transformation, and market expansion. She joins Pax8 from Microsoft, where she most recently held the position of Global Leader for Scale Solution Partners within the Worldwide Global Partner Solutions organization. In that capacity, she managed a portfolio of Microsoft’s largest strategic partners and led initiatives that significantly influenced billions in revenue for Microsoft and Azure services. Her leadership was pivotal in driving innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence, security, and Copilot, while also accelerating large-scale partner transformation.
During her tenure at Microsoft, Kathryn held multiple leadership roles across the Global Partner organization and in sales leadership positions within the South-Central Enterprise Sales Region. She has consistently demonstrated an ability to build high-performing teams, establish strong enterprise partnerships, and exceed growth objectives through a focus on delivering value and maintaining operational discipline.
Marsman earned an MBA in Management from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has long been an active member of the University of Texas at El Paso’s Business Advisory Council and has received several honors, including recognition as a CRN Women of the Channel and multiple Microsoft awards, such as the Circle of Excellence.
