A new, officially licensed Genshin Impact DualSense Wireless controller has been unveiled by Sony, bringing the vibrant world of Teyvat directly to PlayStation 5 players. This limited edition accessory is designed for fans of the massively popular free-to-play adventure, featuring exclusive artwork and a special color scheme. Preorders for the collectible item are set to begin very soon.

Starting December 11, gamers can secure their controller through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. The price is set at $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK. Availability will be limited, so interested buyers will need to act quickly when sales open.

The release will follow a staggered schedule across different regions. The controller is expected to first ship in select Asian markets, including Japan, on January 21, 2026. A broader global launch for North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand is then scheduled for February 25, 2026.

This special DualSense reveal strategically precedes the upcoming launch of Genshin Impact’s next major content expansion, Version Luna III, which arrives on December 3.

Visually, the controller stands out with a distinctive white, gold, and green color palette. Its surface is decorated with intricate arcane symbols from the game. The design prominently features the emblems of the Traveler Twins, Aether and Lumine, alongside their ever-present fairy companion, Paimon.

In an official statement, Wenyi Jin, President of Global Publishing and Operations at HoYoverse, expressed excitement about the collaboration. “We’re thrilled to present this limited edition controller to our global community of players,” Jin said. “It incorporates iconic design elements that celebrate years of adventure in Teyvat and the cherished memories we’ve built with our fans. We hope Travelers enjoy this new companion for their ongoing journeys in Genshin Impact.”
