Replace Your Meta Neural Band for $199

Purchasing the $799 Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses includes more than just eyewear, it also provides the essential Meta Neural Band, a wrist-worn controller for the glasses’ display functions. This component plays a vital role in operating the device, so losing or damaging it presents a significant problem for users.

For some time, it was uncertain whether customers could even buy a replacement Neural Band separately. The accessory wasn’t available through any online storefront, and at least one owner reported that Meta’s support team initially stated replacements weren’t for sale. This raised concerns that the only fix for a missing band might be purchasing a complete new set of glasses, an expensive and frustrating prospect.

After further inquiry, Meta clarified its policy. The company confirmed that customers can indeed purchase a replacement Neural Band by contacting customer service directly, though the cost is $199. This standalone option is reserved for individuals who have already bought the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses and require a band replacement that falls outside the bounds of Meta’s limited warranty coverage. According to Meta representative Tyler Yee, eligible customers must reach out to support, explain their situation, and then proceed with the separate purchase.
