Pokémon TCG Pocket is celebrating its first anniversary on mobile platforms later this month, marking a full year since its initial release. The game has consistently introduced fresh expansions and core functionalities such as card trading, and now developers are preparing to launch three significant updates designed to enhance the player experience.
A new sharing feature will allow players to gift cards of specific rarity levels to their friends. Each day, users can send one card to every friend on their list. When friends reciprocate by sharing cards, players can choose one card daily to add to their own collection.
The range of cards eligible for trading is also expanding. Soon, players will be able to trade cards from the most recently released booster packs. In addition to standard rarity cards, this update will include higher rarity tiers and shiny variants, broadening the possibilities for collector exchanges.
Improvements are also coming to the Wonder Pick feature. Cards from the latest expansion that players have not yet acquired will appear with greater frequency. Additionally, each card displayed in Wonder Pick will now show how many copies the player currently owns, making it easier to track collection progress.
Developers have emphasized their commitment to delivering these updates in the most polished form possible.
