JBL has just unveiled three new Bluetooth speakers designed for music lovers who crave freedom from power outlets. Leading the pack is the JBL PartyBox 720, a high-energy, battery-powered speaker that promises to keep the party going anywhere. Priced at $1,099, this model stands as the largest portable speaker in JBL’s lineup, weighing in at 7 pounds more than its predecessor, the PartyBox 710.

With dimensions of 16.4 x 37.1 x 16 inches, the PartyBox 720 is slightly larger than the 710 and features upgraded 9-inch subwoofers for deeper, more powerful bass. A key upgrade is its built-in battery system, which includes two rechargeable 600 batteries capable of delivering up to 15 hours of continuous playtime. This makes it ideal for outdoor events, beach parties, or any setting where access to power is limited.

Despite its increased size and battery capability, the PartyBox 720 retains many beloved features from earlier models. It still pumps out 800 watts of power, includes vibrant customizable light shows, and carries an IPX4 rating for protection against water splashes. Built-in wheels and a sturdy carry handle make it easier to transport, even with the added weight.

Alongside the PartyBox 720, JBL introduced two additional speakers: the Boombox 4 priced at $550 and the more compact Grip at $100. The Grip marks the start of a new product series, featuring a design similar to the Flip speakers but with added customizable ambient lighting. Both the Boombox 4 and Grip boast an IP68 rating, meaning they are fully waterproof, dustproof, and built to withstand drops.

All three models are available for preorder immediately. The PartyBox 720 is scheduled to hit store shelves on September 21, while the Grip and Boombox 4 will follow on September 28.
