The official design of the Nothing Phone 4A has been unveiled, showcasing the company’s signature transparent aesthetic alongside a significant new lighting feature. Following a teaser last week, an official render posted on social media reveals the rear of the mid-range device. The image highlights the familiar industrial look with clear materials and a triple-camera setup. The most notable change is the introduction of a Glyph Bar positioned to the right of the cameras, replacing the light strips used on previous A-series models.

This new Glyph Bar incorporates nine individually controllable mini-LEDs that present as a line of seven square lights. The configuration includes six white lights and one red light. According to the company, this new system is engineered to be forty percent brighter than the lighting on prior devices like the Phone 3A. Nothing also states it utilizes patented technology to deliver a lighting effect described as more natural and neutral, with a glow that is free from light bleed.

Beyond the design and this new feature, detailed specifications remain under wraps. The company has confirmed the Phone 4A will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, but full technical details, pricing, and market availability are expected to be announced at the device’s launch event scheduled for March 5th. In related news, Nothing CEO Carl Pei has clarified that a standard Phone 4 model will not be released this year. This decision means that last year’s Phone 3 will continue to serve as the brand’s current flagship smartphone for the foreseeable future, positioning the 4A squarely as the new mid-range offering.
